Yorktown police reported a series of recent arrests involving charges including assault, criminal contempt, felony criminal mischief and petit larceny, according to department blotters.
A 42-year-old Yorktown woman was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, a Class D felony, and tampering with physical evidence, a Class E felony, police said.
On April 26 at about 4:08 a.m., officers responded to a report of a man bleeding from his arm at a residence in Yorktown. Police said the victim was found with what appeared to be a stab wound.
An investigation found the woman allegedly stabbed the victim in the left shoulder with a knife during a verbal dispute. Police said she also attempted to clean blood from the scene and conceal the weapon.
The victim was transported to Westchester Medical Center for treatment.
The woman was arrested at the scene, processed at Yorktown Police Headquarters and arraigned before Judge Gary Raniolo. Bail was set at $50,000 cash, $75,000 bond or $100,000 partially secured bond. A temporary order of protection was issued for the victim.
Police said that on April 27, she allegedly violated a Yorktown Justice Court order of protection by entering the victim’s home following a domestic dispute. She was again arrested, processed and arraigned before Judge Raniolo, who issued a temporary order of protection.
She was remanded to the Westchester County Jail after failing to post bail and is due in Yorktown Justice Court on April 28 at 6 p.m.
A 52-year-old Yorktown woman was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree assault, a Class E felony, police said.
On April 22 at about 1:05 p.m., officers responded to a residence in Yorktown for a reported domestic incident. Police said the victim reported being assaulted during an argument.
An investigation found the woman allegedly struck the victim in the face with a vacuum, causing injury, police said. She was arrested at the scene and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing.
She was arraigned before Judge Gary Raniolo, and a temporary order of protection was issued for the victim. She was released on her own recognizance.
She is due in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
A 41-year-old Yorktown man was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a Class A misdemeanor, police said.
On April 23, police investigated a reported domestic incident and determined the man allegedly violated a Westchester County Family Court order of protection by using a third party to contact the victim.
The man later turned himself in at Yorktown Police Headquarters and was processed on the charge. He was arraigned before Judge Livia Rodriguez, who issued a temporary order of protection.
He was released on his own recognizance and is due in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
A 17-year-old Mohegan Lake boy was charged with juvenile delinquency, with an underlying charge of petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor if committed by an adult, police said.
On April 23, the teen turned himself in at Yorktown Police Headquarters in connection with a reported theft from Coco Farms on Barger Street in Shrub Oak. Police said the investigation determined he allegedly stole a $12.99 bottle of Mike’s Hard Lemonade on Friday, April 3.
The teen was processed and issued a juvenile appearance ticket. He was released to a parent on his own recognizance.
He is due to appear with a parent in Westchester County Family Court on Thursday, April 30 at 2 p.m.
A 56-year-old Yorktown man was arrested and charged with third-degree assault, a Class A misdemeanor, police said.
On April 16 at about 6:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in Yorktown for a reported domestic incident. Police said the victim’s daughter reported that her mother was involved in an argument with the defendant. Upon arrival, officers investigated the incident and alleged that the man scratched, grabbed and shoved the victim, causing visible injuries, including marks and bruises.
The man was arrested at the scene and transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing. He was arraigned before Judge Gary Raniolo, and a temporary order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
He was released on his own recognizance and is due in Yorktown Justice Court on May 5 at 6 p.m.
A 43-year-old Yorktown man was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a Class E felony, and second-degree harassment, a violation, police said.
Earlier this year, on Jan. 20, the victim went to Yorktown Police Headquarters to request a welfare check on the defendant. While at headquarters, the victim reported receiving harassing phone calls and text messages from the defendant, police said.
Officers later responded to a residence and investigated allegations that the man damaged property inside the home. Police said he caused about $486 in damage to a bed frame, computer desk and computer monitor.
He was arrested, processed at headquarters and arraigned before Judge Gary Raniolo. A temporary order of protection was issued for the victim.

A 68-year-old homeless man was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a Class A misdemeanor, police said.
On April 15, officers responded to 2720 Lexington Ave., the address listed for US Storage Centers in Crompond, for a reported order of protection violation. Police said the man allegedly violated the order.
He was arrested, processed at headquarters and arraigned before Judge Gary Raniolo. A temporary order of protection was issued, and he was remanded to Westchester County Jail.
He is due in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, May 19 at 6 p.m.
