A Yonkers man is accused of stealing more than $7,000 in merchandise from an Ulta Beauty store at Jefferson Valley Mall, Yorktown Police said.
Kishane Gordon, 32, was arrested Thursday, March 26, after being identified as the suspect in separate larceny incidents at the beauty retailer. Police said it received a report of theft on March 14 at the store, 650 Lee Blvd., where Gordon allegedly stole merchandise valued at $6,068, police said.
Police said he is also accused of stealing an additional $1,250 in merchandise from the same location in a separate incident on March 26.
Later that day, at about 4:45 p.m., the Dobbs Ferry Police Department notified Yorktown officers that Gordon was in custody on unrelated charges. Yorktown detectives responded and took him into custody at about 5:15 p.m., police said.
Gordon was charged with third- and fourth-degree grand larceny, class D and class E felonies, respectively.
After processing, he was arraigned and later turned over to the custody of the Port Chester Police Department, authorities said. Gordon is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on April 9 at 6 p.m.
