Three Queens men were arrested Thursday after Yorktown Police alleged they forcibly stole an individual's purse outside the TD Bank branch on Lee Road.
Police said officers responded to TD Bank, 3660 Lee Rd., at about 11:44 a.m. Thursday following a report of a strong-arm robbery — a crime where a person takes items from someone else using physical force, hitting, or threats, but without using a weapon.
Investigators allege the three suspects acted together to steal the victim's purse, which contained more than $1,000 in cash and multiple credit cards.
Following an investigation, members of the Westchester County Police Department located the suspects in White Plains and transported them to Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing.
Police charged Ashton Munoz Cordoba, 19, of Queens; Engelber Eduardo Rudas Seijas, 19, of Queens; and Harguar Steven Arias Salamanca, 18, of Queens, each with second-degree robbery, a Class C felony; three counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, a Class E felony; and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a Class E felony.
The three men were brought to Yorktown Justice Court and arraigned before the Honorable Judge Gary Raniolo. Bail was set at $75,000 cash, $150,000 secured bond and $200,000 partially secured bond.
Police said the men could not make bail and were all remanded to Westchester County Jail.
They'll next appear in court at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
