A New Rochelle woman was arrested following a police pursuit involving a stolen vehicle on the Taconic State Parkway on June 9, according to the New York State Police.

At approximately 12:33 p.m., members of the Troop K Community Stabilization Unit, with assistance from the Yorktown Police Department and the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, attempted to stop a stolen 2020 Toyota RAV4 traveling northbound on the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown.

The vehicle had been flagged by the Westchester Real Time Crime Center prior to the attempted stop, state police said.

Police said the operator failed to comply, prompting a pursuit. During the chase, the driver intentionally struck a Yorktown police patrol vehicle. State police said the officer was not injured.

Members of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office deployed a tire deflation device near Pudding Street, and the vehicle later crashed on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Kent, according to state police.

The driver, identified as Keanna L. Hogue, 29, of New Rochelle, fled on foot but was taken into custody shortly afterward.

Hogue was transported to State Police Stormville and charged with criminal mischief in the second degree, a class D felony; criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, a class D felony; six counts of reckless endangerment in the second degree, class A misdemeanors; obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor; unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor; and multiple vehicle and traffic law violations.

Following processing, Hogue was turned over to the Pelham Manor Police Department, the agency investigating the vehicle theft, according to state police.

The New York State Police thanked the Yorktown Police Department, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and Westchester Real Time Crime Center for their assistance in the investigation.
