Patricia M. Tranchina passed away on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at the age of 81. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on Feb. 2, 1943, the daughter of Matteo and Irene (Curley) Lattazi.
Patricia graduated from Bay Ridge High School and was employed as an administrative assistant at Kingsborough College in Brooklyn.
Patricia moved to Mahopac from Brooklyn in 2018. She attended the William Koehler Senior Center. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and her loving family most of all.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Tranchina Klein and her husband, Steven of Mahopac; her brother, Marty Lattazi of Florida; her granddaughter Alyssa Marie Kull and her step-grandsons, Daniel Kull and Zachery and Steven Klein. She was predeceased by her longtime companion, Robert Kowalchik, her former husband, Carl Tranchina and her sister-in-law, Marie Lattazi.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 1 pm at Our Lady of the Lake Mt. Carmel Church in Lake Carmel with the entombment of her cremains immediately following at St. Sebastian’s Columbarium located on the church grounds.
