Jodi Ann Belardo, known lovingly to many as Jodi, was born on Jan. 13, 1962, in New Rochelle, New York, and entered into eternal rest on Sept. 28, 2026, in Danbury, Connecticut, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma, high grade WHO4. She was a woman of deep Christian faith, and her life reflected the grace, kindness, and quiet strength that so often mark a faithful servant of God.

Jodi was the beloved daughter of Stephen and Rosemary, both of whom preceded her in death, and she carried their love and example throughout her life. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael, whose memory remained close to her heart. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Jillian Belardo, who was a source of great joy and pride to her. She is also survived by her sister, Stephanie Mauriello, and Aaron; her sister, Donna Centinaro, and her husband, Phil, along with their children, Melissa, Emily, and Philip; and her brother, Stephen Mauriello, and his wife, Maria, along with their son, Paul. Jodi treasured her family deeply, and the bonds she shared with them were marked by love, loyalty, and enduring affection.

Jodi graduated from St. Gabriel's High School in 1980 and attended Iona College briefly. She went on to build a life of steady devotion and responsibility, and she served as Office Manager at SK Electric, where her intelligence, organization, and dependable nature were deeply valued. In both her work and her personal life, she was known as a person who could be counted on, and she carried out her duties with grace and competence. Her life was a reflection of the words that best describe her, which were loving, intelligent, and generous.

Outside of her work, Jodi found joy in many of the simple and beautiful things of life. She loved her dog Trixie like a second child. She was a true coffee connoisseur, and she appreciated the comfort and pleasure that a good cup of coffee or espresso could bring. She loved jazz music, which often filled her heart with peace and warmth, and she found delight in gardening, where she could nurture living things with patience and care. She also enjoyed going out to eat with friends, sharing conversation and companionship over a meal. In years past, she loved painting and crafting, and these creative pursuits reflected her thoughtful spirit and appreciation for beauty. Jodi lived with an open heart, and she found meaning in both the everyday and the memorable moments that she shared with others.

Her Christian faith was an important part of who she was, and it gave her strength throughout her life and especially during her illness. She faced her final days with courage and dignity, sustained by the hope of eternal life and the promise of God’s unfailing love. Those who knew Jodi will remember her as a woman who loved well, gave freely, and carried herself with a gentle and generous spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, family devotion, and kindness that will continue to bless those who were fortunate enough to know her.

As the Scripture reminds us in 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Jodi’s life reflected those words in a beautiful and meaningful way. Though she is no longer with us in this earthly life, her memory will remain a treasured gift to her family and friends. May she rest in the peace of Christ, and may those who mourn her be comforted by the love of God and the hope of reunion in His heavenly kingdom.
