Judith A. Martino, of Somers, NY, passed away Sunday February 22, 2026, in New York, NY at the age of 79.
Judith was born March 27, 1946, in Rockaway Beach, NY, daughter of the late Michael and Gilda (Lombardo) D’Anna. She graduated from Far Rockaway High School, then received her bachelor’s degree in drama from PACE University. Judith married Thomas Martino on August 2, 1996, in the Bahamas. They lived in Rockaway Beach before moving to Somers in 2008. Judith worked as a transcriptionist at Peninsula Hospital Center in Rockaway for twenty-five years, retiring in 2003. Judith was also an actor and dancer and had worked with the Rockaway Theatre Company.
Judith is survived by her husband Thomas Martino, daughters Janeann Ainbinder and her husband Bruce and daughter Kristen Nolan of Peekskill, NY, brothers Richard D’Anna of South Carolina and Bruce D’Anna of Rockaway Beach, NY and grandchild Matthew Ainbinder. She was predeceased by her son Patrick Nolan.
Private calling hours will take place Saturday February 28, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m. with a service being held during the calling hours at 3:30 p.m. at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY. A private interment will take place on Monday March 2, 2026, at Ivandell Cemetery in Somers, NY.
