Albino Maiolo

Al Maiolo was born in Nardodipace, Italy on March 18, 1933. Al was the 4th of eight children born to Concetta and William Maiolo. He attended New Rochelle High School, the Latin American Institute, and was a proud graduate of Iona College, class of 1964 where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Al was the first in his family to attend college. In May of 1963 he married Gail Ann Miller. He is survived by Gail and their four daughters, Lisa Daley (John), Karen McCarthy (Patrick), Patricia Hinkley (Jason), and Deborah Pojednic (Gary), and his grandchildren Alex and Kelly Daley, Madeline, Sean and Megan McCarthy, Samuel, Emma and Sophia Hinkley, and Maxwell and Henry Pojednic.

Al was the founder and chairman of Aero Hardware and Parts, Company, Inc. located first in Rye, NY and later in Armonk, NY. He was a long-time devoted parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Mount Kisco and a member for over 50 years and former president of Mount Kisco Country Club. Al supported many charities in his lifetime, but his all-time favorite was the Guiding Eyes for the Blind. He took great pleasure in serving as a board member and was one of the founders of their charity golf tournament, the Guiding Eyes for the Blind Golf Classic which is widely considered to be the "Masters of Blind Golf".

Al passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 10, 2026. Al was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who left a lasting impression on everyone he met and will be greatly missed. As Al liked to say, "Cent' Anni"
