Yuri Antonio Mejia Urquia of Brewster, NY, passed away Saturday October 19, 2024, in the town of Nassau, NY at the age of 28.
Yuri was born June 24, 1996, in San Antonio la Cuesta, Comayagua, Honduras, son of Saul Antonio Mejia and Blanca Azucena Urquia of Comayagua, Honduras. Yuri emigrated to the United States and settled in Brewster, NY. On August 23, 2023, he married Wendy Arely Pacheco in Brewster.
Besides his wife Wendy and his parents, Yuri is survived by his children, son Isaiah Samual Mejia of Roxbury, NY and daughter Jayko Isac Martinez Mejia of Brentwood, NY; brothers Arlin Saul Mejia Urquia of Brewster, NY and William Javier Mejia Urquia of Comayagua, Honduras.
A wake took place on Wednesday October 23, 2024, at Beecher Funeral Home. Yuri will be buried at a later date in his hometown of San Antonio la Cuesta, Comayagua, Honduras.
