Ruth Massiel Neary passed away on October 6, 2024,  in Mt. Kisco, NY. She was born in the Dominican Republic on April 23, 1978, to Furcy Vassallo and Marien Maritza (Rodriguez) Mendez. Ruth brought light and joy into the world from the very beginning.

Ruth attended Pace University and Baruch College where her academic achievements were crowned with two master's degrees, one in finance and another in accounting, complemented by her undergraduate degree in engineering.

Professionally, Ruth dedicated herself to the field of accounting with the same fervor she applied to her studies. As a certified public accountant at Global Taxes, LLC, she was known for her meticulous attention to detail, her unwavering integrity, and her ability to navigate the most complex financial landscapes with ease. Her colleagues revered her not only for her professional acumen but also for her warmth and generosity of spirit.

Beyond the walls of academia and the confines of the office, Ruth's spirit soared through her love of travel and music. She found joy in exploring new cultures and landscapes, each journey enriching her soul and broadening her perspective. Music, particularly the rhythms of her favorite Mexican pop-rock band Maná, spoke to her heart. Ruth's own musical talent shone brightly when she played the drums, a pursuit that brought her immense pleasure and allowed her to express her vibrant spirit.

Ruth's life was a tapestry woven with the love of her family. She is survived by her devoted husband Bill, her cherished son Matthew, and her loving sisters Patria and Inez. Each relationship was nurtured with care, imbued with laughter, and strengthened by shared experiences. Ruth's presence in their lives was a gift they will forever hold dear.

As we bid farewell to Ruth Massiel Neary, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and passion. She was a woman who embraced the world with open arms and left it richer for her having been here. Her intelligence illuminated the paths of many and her kindness left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.
