Patricia Ann Mosey of Brewster, NY, and Burbank, California, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the age of 69.

Patricia was born July 19, 1955, in Manhattan, NY, the second daughter of the late John and Geraldine (Bernadac) Mosey. She graduated from St. Barnabas High School in Yonkers, NY in 1973 and after receiving her bachelor’s degree from Lehman College in 1977, she fulfilled her lifelong dream and headed west where she settled in sunny and warm southern California. During her 47 years in California , Patricia worked for PIXAR as a paralegal and for the last twelve years she worked for Universal Music Group's Latin Division from 2011 to 2024 in Burbank, CA as an Executive Assistant, retiring in July of 2024. She was fluent in Spanish, and her work at Sony Universal was entirely in Spanish.

Patricia loved her nieces Jacki, Victoria, Tina and Jenna, dearly and was especially fond of her nephew Jonathan who she traveled extensively with and referring to him as her “husband”. She did love to travel, visiting Europe, Africa, Australia, and South America during her lifetime, often accompanied by family and friends. She was an avid reader, she loved watching Spanish Telenovellas, and most of all, she loved her birds. She called her two surviving cockatoos, Rosa and Charlotte, her “children”, and cared for them for literally decades of her life. She took great pleasure in introducing her “girls” to her great nieces Annabella and Stella and her great nephew Elyas.

Besides her birds, Patricia is survived by her sister Gerrie Colombraro and her husband Bruce of Brewster, NY whom she was living with at the time of her death, and her brother John Mosey of Putnam Valley, NY, her nephew, four nieces, and her four great nieces and nephews. Patricia was much loved by her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, April 5, at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster, NY. The interment was private.
