It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marion Ruth Oxer, beloved wife, mother, and Grammie, on June 2. Marion was a woman of grace, kindness, and unwavering love. She touched the lives of everyone she encountered with her warmth, generosity, and infectious laughter.
Marion leaves behind her loving husband, Russell Oxer, with whom she shared a beautiful life together for 54 years. She is also survived by her son, Rusty, daughter-in-law, Lisa, and three cherished grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love, compassion, and strength will live on through them.
She was preceded in death by her beloved brothers Paul, Tom, and Jerry, and her dear sister Joanne. Though they are gone, the love they shared and the memories they created together remain a treasured part of her story, carried on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Marion’s passions included spending cherished moments with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored and who brought her great joy. She enjoyed reading, often immersing herself in a good book, and found peace in quiet moments of reflection. Marion also shared a special bond with her friends, with whom she loved painting ceramics—a hobby that brought her both creative fulfillment and endless laughter.
Marion’s passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will forever live in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace, Marion. You will be dearly missed.
