Leanore Testa, 92, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025.
Leanore was born in Mount Kisco, NY to Nicolo Testa and Filomena (Perna) on October 21, 1932. She grew up as the fifth of six children in a large, loving Italian family where faith, family, food, friends, laughter, music and hard work was the foundation for her life.
Lee was proud of her career in business that spanned many decades. She worked overseeing and coordinating business operations as the Executive Assistant to Henry H. When Lee was not working or spending time with her beloved family, she enjoyed hitting the slopes skiing with friends in her younger years. She also loved country line dancing, where she and her dance group entertained and performed throughout Westchester County. With a big smile and perfect rhythm, "Boot Scootin' Boogie" was one of her all-time favorites to dance to. Lee also loved traveling the world, whether it be for business or pleasure. She was always up for an adventure.
Most of all, Lee loved her family. She was a loving and devoted daughter and sister, and Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Mount Kisco, NY.
Lee is survived by her brother, Michael Testa, and three generations of nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and four sisters, Marie Janka, Carmela Burmeister, Antoinette Testa, and Adeline Reynolds.
Leanore/Auntie Lee will always be remembered for her unwavering dedication and deep love for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
