It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Francine Salemi Rinaldi, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, who left us peacefully on November 20, 2024, at the age of 60.
Francine was a loving wife to Thomas Rinaldi, a devoted mother to her three children: Jesse, Jenna, and Jordan, and a cherished mother-in-law to Jesse’s wife, Sydni. Her family was her heart, and she treasured every moment with them.
In 2020, Francine was given a second chance at life when she received life-saving kidney and liver transplants. This extraordinary gift allowed her to continue her journey with her family and friends, enriching their lives with her love and light.
Francine found joy in the simple things: collecting seashells and sea glass at the family home in Long Beach Island, a place that brought her peace. She loved to travel, and St. Martin in the Caribbean became her “home away from home,” a special place she returned to often.
She shared a particularly close bond with her brother, Mark, whom she called nearly every day. Her lifelong friendships, many dating back to elementary school, reflected her unwavering dedication to those she loved.
With her beautiful eyes and radiant smile, Francine had a unique ability to make every occasion special. Whether it was a holiday, birthday, or graduation, she celebrated each milestone with joy and enthusiasm, ensuring no achievement went unnoticed. Her kindness knew no bounds—she was always ready to help a stranger in need.
Francine had a passion for cooking and was an amazing chef, filling her home with the scents of her latest creations. She was also a lover of shopping, always prepared with a coupon for every occasion.
She leaves behind her beloved cats, Bean and Basil, as well as her grand-dog Chloe and grand-cat Sweetie, who brought her much comfort and joy.
Francine’s legacy of love, kindness, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She was a rare soul, and her absence leaves a void that can never be filled. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Francine’s memory to PKD Foundation.
