Fernand P. Jobin Jr., affectionately known as Bud or Buddy, was a lifelong resident of Mount Kisco who passed away on November 18, 2025. He was the middle child of three, cherished brother to his older sister Clementine Lackens (George) and younger brother Thomas Jobin (Caroline).
A proud graduate of Fox Lane High School, Bud went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force from 1962 to 1966. On December 11, 1962, he married the love of his life, Patricia Jobin, with whom he shared a beautiful and devoted partnership. Together they raised three children: Thomas (Kyla), Bryan (Kathy), and Patricia, who predeceased him.
Bud was a proud grandfather to Brendan, Deanna, Tara (Austin), and Lennon (Theresa), and a loving great-grandfather to Hailey and Dakota, all of whom he adored dearly.
Bud dedicated many years of service to the Town of Mount Kisco and was an active member of both the Elks Club and the American Legion. He was also one of the founding members of the Mount Kisco Junior Football League, where he positively impacted countless young people. His commitment to the community and its youth made him a true pillar of Mount Kisco.
In his free time, Bud enjoyed golfing, gardening, and making wine with friends. He was a die-hard Oakland Raiders fan. He loved traveling with Patricia and their close circle of friends, and he was always ready for a dance—especially when his favorite Frank Sinatra song, "My Way," began to play. Known for being the life of the party, Bud had a sharp wit, a sarcastic sense of humor, and an unparalleled talent for remembering names ("Big Time"). A master of the English language, he had a presence that was unforgettable.
A man of many martinis—shaken, not stirred—Bud will be deeply missed by his family, extended family, and the many friends whose lives he has touched.
