Dear Editor,
Gwen Burke is an experienced business manager; environmental engineer; a teacher of physics, chemistry and math; a parent; community leader; a long-time Carmel resident; and an all-around nice person.
She would uniquely contribute her background in environmental systems management to our Putnam legislature.
Simply put, she is the perfect kind of non-political individual who would bring her intelligence, knowledge and extensive experience to bear, representing the entire community, devoting herself to improving life for her constituents. Given the amazing water resources of our area, Gwen’s considerable background in environmental science and environmental resources management represents an important, much needed resource for county-wide decision-making.
The Town of Carmel and Putnam County would be fortunate to have such a resourceful, even-handed, devoted community member as its representative.
