Mahopac baby Landon Lawrenson is still in the running for Baby of the Year after a wave of support propelled him into the semifinals last week. With more local support, he could go even farther. His family thanked the community for helping him reach this latest milestone.

“With the help of friends, family, and the community, Landon came in first in his quarterfinals group, earning him a spot in the semifinals,” mom Erika Lawrenson said. “Voting for the final 18 babies ends Thursday, Oct. 29, at 10 p.m.”

“Win or lose, we’re so proud of how far our supporters have taken us!” she added.
