Anthony M. Christiano Sr., a cherished family man, respected businessman, and most recently of Carmel,  and formerly of Yonkers, passed away peacefully on Sept.16, 2024, at the age of 84. Born in the Bronx on May 8, 1940, to the late Anthony and Teresa (LaBanca) Christiano, Anthony's life was a testament to the values of hard work, dedication, and the importance of family.

A proud graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School, Anthony's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish TC Concrete and Paving in Yonkers. His leadership and work ethic were the cornerstones of the business, which he passionately ran into his early seventies. Anthony's commitment to his work was paralleled only by his devotion to his family and his love for sports.

On April 15, 1970, Anthony married the love of his life, Theresa Cortez, and their union was blessed with two children, Anthony Jr. and Nicole. Anthony Jr. and his wife Alma, along with Nicole Toro and her husband Robert, brought Anthony immense joy, as did his five adored grandchildren, Danielle, Vincent, Christian, Michael, and Ava. He is also survived by his sister, Josephine Raimondo, who will miss him dearly.

Anthony's passion for his favorite teams, the Mets and the Jets, was well-known among his friends and family. Win or lose, he stood by his teams with unwavering support. However, it was the time spent with his family that truly captured his heart. Anthony was the patriarch of a family that held fast to the older tradition of gathering for Sunday dinners and celebrating the holidays with great fervor. These moments, now cherished memories, underscored his belief that family was everything.

His presence at family events was a constant, his laughter infectious, and his guidance invaluable. Anthony's legacy is one of love and unity, a legacy that will continue to live on through the stories shared at the dinner table and the values he instilled in his loved ones.
