Richard K. Bingham, a devoted son, brother, uncle, godfather, and friend, passed away on Monday, September 14, following a courageous battle with an extremely rare form of cancer. Born on October 23, 1970, Richard was taken from his loved ones far too soon.

Richard grew up in Bedford Hills, New York, and later made his home in Mount Kisco. He was a remarkably kind and generous man who found great joy in helping others and never expected anything in return. He consistently put the needs of others before his own, approaching life and work with integrity, humility, and a deep commitment to doing what was right.

A dedicated and hardworking professional, Richard worked for several construction companies over the course of his career, beginning as a painter with Dave Murphy. He joined Walmara Construction as an apprentice carpenter. Later he joined Mangione Construction to work as a general contractor. Most recently, he was the caretaker and handyman at a private firm in Greenwich, Connecticut. His strong work ethic, dependable nature, and willingness to lend a hand earned him the respect and affection of his coworkers, who deeply valued working with him.

Beyond his caring nature, Richard found great joy in collecting antiques and unique treasures. He had a keen eye for history and craftsmanship, and he delighted in discovering meaningful collectibles that connected the past with the present. His collections reflected the same thoughtfulness and appreciation for life's stories that characterized who he was as a person. Richard also enjoyed a lifelong passion for fishing, boating, and gardening.

Above all, Richard cherished his family and his many friends. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, quiet selflessness, and the countless ways—both large and small—in which he made life better for those around him.

Richard is survived by his loving mother, Carol; his sister, Deborah; his niece, Rose; his stepsister, Ashley; his stepbrother, Justin; his goddaughter, Diana; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Bingham.

Richard's life was defined not by its length, but by the kindness, generosity, and love he shared so freely. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him, and he will be deeply and forever missed.

"Those we love never truly leave us. Their love remains in our hearts, their memories guide our steps, and their spirit lives on in the lives they touched."
