Louis M. Arceo Jr. 79, passed away Thursday, Oct. 29 at his home in Garrison, New York.
Louis is survived by his children, Daniel Arceo and Janine Rimm (née Arceo), his sister, Nilda Palese (née Arceo) his niece Laura Palese and nephew Richard Palese.
Louis was born March 3, 1947, in New York, NY to Louis and Nilda Arceo. He made life-long friends and often spoke fondly of his many adventures during his childhood in Washington Heights. He graduated from Pace University and enjoyed a lengthy, fulfilling career in advertising.
Louis is predeceased by his wife, Mary Mahoney, whom he enjoyed over 40 years of happy memories with.
Louis was fond of good food, good company and good wine. He enjoyed cooking for a crowd and was famous for his “Louie burgers” during the summer. He loved sports, even though his choice of loyalty often led to heartbreak. He had a wonderful sense of humor which he passed on to his children.
His larger-than-life personality will be missed by everyone that knew him.
A memorial will be held at Yorktown Funeral Home, 945 East Main Street, Shrub Oak, New York from 1 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 8.
