NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - The Ruth Keeler Memorial Library is invited the reading public to a “Community Book Browse” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24.
This is not your ordinary book sale.
The event is being made possible because of a generous legacy gift of books from the Goldberg family’s private collection.
“We’re honoring that gift by sharing the collection, giving these books new homes and new readers,” said Assistant Director Jen Gileno.
Books about art, antique furniture, and other “treasures” are sure to be found.
There are no set prices. Donations of any amount are appreciated. It’s drop-in and no registration is required.
The funds raised will go toward the library’s “Build The Next Chapter” project.
“Bring a bag and see what you discover,” Gileno urged
