Dear Editor,
The North Salem Republican Town Committee (NSRTC) extends our warmest greetings and continued commitment to our neighbors, friends and fellow citizens. As we approach the November 2025 election, we want you to know that we are still here, working hard to serve our community, promote good governance, and preserve the values that make North Salem such a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family.
Over the past few years, the North Salem Republican Town Committee has continued to grow, launching new initiatives, supporting patriotic organizations and encouraging civic engagement among residents of all ages. We’re proud to announce our upcoming 2026 NSRTC College Scholarship, which continues our tradition of investing in the next generation of leaders. Each year, we also proudly present pocket Constitutions to every North Salem High School senior during Constitution Week, a project that began when the school launched its civics program. It's a tradition we are honored to sustain.
Our NSRTC Youth Internship Program offers local high school students valuable hands-on experience in civic involvement and public service. These interns assist with community events, communications and outreach efforts, connecting our committee’s mission with the next generation of leaders. We are proud of their contributions and the leadership they bring to our community.
Thanks to your generosity, committee donations and proceeds from our fundraisers directly fund these programs and other community initiatives. The Regents and SAT Prep books donated to North Salem and Somers schools were made possible through the silent auction donations and bids at our fundraising events, an effort that has directly supported academic success and literacy in our schools. We also proudly donated the American flag that is inside the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library; and continue to participate in the United for the Troops Defend the Holidays Collection, where your generosity helped us donate items for care packages to support our brave men and women serving overseas.
This year, we are also honored to present a strong Republican slate of experienced and dedicated candidates who represent the best of North Salem:
Warren Lucas for Town Supervisor
Peter Kamenstein for Town Councilman
James “Bo” DePaoli for Highway Superintendent
Randi Bowen for Receiver of Taxes
These candidates are committed to maintaining North Salem’s quality of life, fiscal discipline, and community integrity. We hope you will join us in supporting them this fall.
Please also join us for our Fall Fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 2, with proceeds supporting our local candidates, the 2026 NSRTC College Scholarship, and committee causes such as Turning Point USA's legislative arm, Turning Point Action. Your continued participation and generosity make these efforts possible.
As Election Day approaches, please make a plan to vote:
Early Voting in Westchester County (Somers Elephant Hotel): Saturday, Oct. 25 – Sunday, Nov. 2.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 4th.
Every vote counts, especially in local elections where our town’s future is directly shaped by your participation.
The North Salem Republican Town Committee remains active year-round: at the Memorial Day Parade, Halloween Trunk-or-Treat, Constitution Week, Black History month, our Christmas Tree annual theme decorations, NSHS O.P.T.I.O.N.S. judging, and many other community events, continuing our mission to engage residents and promote civic pride.
In addition to local projects, our committee has supported patriotic and civic organizations, including the Wounded Warriors Project, Turning Point USA, the North Salem Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Putnam Service Dogs, and many other local, state and national causes and candidates.
Stay connected with us at www.northsalemrepublican.com and on Facebook @NorthSalemRepublicans for updates, events and early voting information.
We always welcome new members and volunteers. With way over 1,000 unaffiliated voters in town, many who share our values, we encourage you to get involved. Help us advance our mission, and preserve the character of our great town. Email us at northsalemrepublicans@gmail.com for more information. If you like what we do but can only send in a monetary donation, but not donate time, please mail us a check to: PO BOX 289 North Salem, NY 10560.
Thank you for your continued trust, support, and involvement. Together, we can keep North Salem strong, free, and united in purpose.
In Liberty,
-The North Salem Republican Town Committee
