With heavy hearts, we share that Margaret Curtin of Mamaroneck, NY, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025, at The Paramount at Somers. She was 78 years old, born on August 20, 1946.
Margaret faced a 20-year battle with cancer with strength and determination. She met every challenge head-on, just as she lived her life.
She was a devoted sister, a proud aunt, a loving mother, and an amazing Nana. She was known for telling it like it is, making people laugh without trying, and making everyone feel like they mattered. Her laugh was one of a kind full of warmth, mischief, and love.
Family was everything to her, and she had a gift for turning ordinary moments into lasting memories. She leaves behind memories of resilience, humor, and love that will live on in everyone who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
She is survived by her daughter Roseann DiMaio (Thomas), her son Michael Curtin (Kelly), her brother Anthony Pennatto and sister Lucille Pennatto. She is also survived by her grandchildren Samantha, Anna, Angelina, Michael Jr and Paul III, along with her great-grandchildren Savannah, Benjamin, Vincent and Joseph.
She is also predeceased by her husband, Paul Curtin Sr., her son Paul Curtin Jr. and her brother, Patrick Pennatto.
