Lucille Virgo, a resident of Brewster, NY, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026. She was 96 years old.
Lucille was born on March 6, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY., daughter of the late James Gallo and Mary (Campanile) Gallo. She was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. Her family remained at the center of her life throughout her many years.
Lucille was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert Virgo Sr. They were married for 63 years before his passing on February 10th, 2020. She is survived by her three children, Christopher (Denise) Virgo, James (Kathy) Virgo, and Albert (Pat) Virgo, as well as her two granddaughters, Casey & Ciara.
A woman of Catholic faith, Lucille was a parishioner of St. James the Apostle Church in Carmel, NY.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Beecher Funeral Home of Brewster, NY. 1 Putnam Avenue. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 10 a.m. at St. James the Apostle Church in Carmel, NY. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to St. James the Apostle Church in Lucille’s memory.
