David E. Wise, beloved husband, father, brother, and dear friend, passed away on February 16th, 2025. Born on a US naval base in Muharraq, Bahrain, to his parents Alyce and Timothy.
David established a career with the NYPD where he dedicated 25 years of his life to the people of New York.
Outside of his professional life, David loved classic rock. It was an interest that stayed with him throughout his life. He was also an avid Mets fan and history buff, and he had a wry sense of humor.
Above all of that, David’s family and work were paramount to him.
David was loved and esteemed by many people. He is survived by his wife Lois Lawerence, and their two children Kevin and Cassandra. He also leaves behind his six siblings: Frances, William, Timothy, Carol, Kristina and Alex.
In commemoration of David’s life, a service will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2103 US-6, Brewster, NY 10509.
Interment will be private.
