Angelina Boniello Pielli of Tampa, Fla., and formerly of Mahopac, passed away surrounded by her children on September 12, 2025, at the age of 89.
"Jill" as she was known was born in Granite Springs, N.Y. on May 27, 1936, the daughter of Gaetano and Rosina (Serino) Boniello.
Jill graduated from Mahopac/Shrub Oak High School and worked as a bank teller for several local banks, many of which merged together through the years. In her spare time, she enjoyed word search puzzle, and talking with friends and family. Spending time with her family was truly an important aspect of her life.
On May 19, 1957, she married Richard P. Pielli at St. John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac. Sadly, Richard passed away on June 13, 2012. She is survived by her sons, Richard Pielli and his wife, Kim and William Pielli and his wife, Ann; her daughter, Cheryl Pecoraro and her husband, Anthony; her beloved grandchildren: Victoria, Kathryn, Megan, Corrine, Kyle and Cayla and great grandchildren: Finnley, Bowen, Nathan, Marlowe, Monroe, and Miles. She was predeceased by her brothers, John, Gus, Louis and Angelo Boniello and her sister, Louise M.B. Dring. She will be missed by all of her extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends.
siting will be held on Sunday, Sept. 21 from 1-5 p.m. at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Sept. 22, at 10 am with entombment to follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley.
