The John C. Hart Memorial Library joined thousands of libraries worldwide Saturday in participating in Take Your Child to the Library Day, encouraging families to sign up for library cards while highlighting children’s programming.
The library hosted storytime and morning activities, including crafts, a scavenger hunt and a Lego free build. The event also featured visits from Izod the therapy dog, Pete the Cat, Leonardo the Ninja Turtle and Sonic the Hedgehog.
