Between the Town Board (four candidates for two seats), supervisor, two Westchester County legislative districts, and the race for county executive, Yorktown voters have a lot to consider this fall.
With early voting underway as of Oct. 25, Yorktown News offers a look at the local contested races—starting with the Town Board candidates Sergio Esposito, Ilan Gilbert, Luciana Haughwout, and Michael Hickins, and the supervisor contest between Ed Lachterman and Jann Mirchandani.
Two Yorktown incumbents are running unopposed this year: Town Justice Aviah Cohen Pierson and Highway Superintendent Dave Paganelli.
Town election coverage begins on page 3 of the Oct. 23 edition of Yorktown News. Coverage of the Westchester County Board of Legislators seats (Colin Smith vs. Kevin Byrnes and Vedat Gashi vs. Kevin O’Keefe) begins on page 12. Click here to read the print edition.
