Yorktown Troop 238 honors its three newest Eagle Status

Scouts attend The Harvey School, Kennedy, Lakeland

SHRUB OAK, N.Y. – Troop 238 of Yorktown held an Eagle Scout Court of Honor on Monday, June 23, at the Parish Center of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. The ceremony recognized three local Eagle Scouts representing the Yorktown, Somers and Lakeland areas.

Lee Birch, a student at the Harvey School, built a new outdoor water irrigation system for the Environmental Education Department at Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES.

Rowan Maye, who attends Kennedy Catholic, created an outdoor library and companion website for the Church of the Good Shepherd.

Keaton Wolf, a Lakeland High School student, developed new outdoor reading spaces and handcrafted two weatherproof cedar benches for the John C. Hart Memorial Library.
