Yorktown proclaims Space Force Day

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. — The Town of Yorktown proclaimed Dec. 20 as United States Space Force Day, honoring the newest branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, established in 2019. The town recognized the service and dedication of Space Force members, who organize, train, and equip personnel to conduct global space operations and protect national security, communications, and navigation systems.
