Yorktown police said that on Feb. 13 they responded to a commercial alarm at Quick Stop Gulf on Compond Road. An investigation revealed that lottery tickets had been stolen by multiple suspects.

Police were able to identify the suspects, and an arrest warrant was issued by the Justice Court. One suspect was contacted and told to turn himself in to police headquarters.

On Oct. 15, the defendant arrived and was placed under arrest. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance and will return to court on Nov. 12.
