I spend a lot of time talking about cleaning. But when someone hires us to clean their home, I don’t think cleaning is really what they’re buying.
They’re buying Saturday morning.
They’re buying the couple of hours they would have spent scrubbing bathrooms, vacuuming floors and trying to get the kitchen back to where it started. Maybe they spend that time with their kids. Maybe they go out to lunch. Maybe they do absolutely nothing. I’m a big believer in doing absolutely nothing once in a while.
And yes, they’re also buying a clean home.
There’s something different about walking into a house that’s already been cleaned. The floors are done. The bathrooms are clean. The kitchen is put back together. You’re not mentally making a list of what you should be doing next.
That’s a big part of what we sell at Maid Brigade.
We’ve been cleaning homes in this area for 30 years. Our employees are trained, background checked and insured, and we use our PUREcleaning® system because we believe a home shouldn’t have to smell like harsh chemicals to be clean.
But the part I think matters most is simpler: you don’t have to do it.
If you’ve been thinking about getting help with your house, maybe the question isn’t whether you can clean it yourself.
Of course you can.
The better question might be: What else could you do with that time?
