Dear Editor,
Whether you’re a non-MAGA Republican, an independent, or a Democrat, this year’s congressional election is the most significant one in your lifetime. Elect Cait Conley and Democratic congressional leadership, and President Trump is checked.
You will stop Trump’s effort to undermine the integrity of our elections and destroy our democracy, stymie his inexplicable behavior toward Canada, Greenland, Ukraine, and NATO allies, while cozying up to Putin and North Korea.
Vote Cait Conley, and you will block Trump’s caustic speech demeaning fellow Americans by the willful demonstration of your vote. You will counter Trump’s disastrous economic policies that only seem to benefit him and his oligarch cronies. Vote Cait Conley, and the shade will be lifted on the extent of Trump’s corruption, whether it’s multi-million dollar crypto scams or accepting jumbo jets from foreign governments.
Democrats will control congressional committees and be able to investigate his self-dealing, and expose and degrade his efforts to eviscerate government departments by installing lackey loyalists after wholesale dumping of independent career civil servants. Maybe we’ll even get to see the Epstein files, if Trump’s Justice Department doesn’t burn them first.
We’ve had a non-authoritarian government for 250 years in this country. Your voice, your strength, your vote will determine whether it continues. No lackey-MAGA Lawler silence: Cait Conley for Congress.
