KATONAH, N.Y. - New York State Senator Pete Harckham recently honored his partner Jin-Hee Stevens, the owner and proprietor of Valet Cleaners for the past 20 years, on her retirement at a celebratory gathering here at the business on Jan. 4.
Stevens sold her business to Pleasantville resident Steve Tobia, who owns Dry Cleaning by Fredericks, a chain with outlets in four other Westchester locations.
At the retirement party, Harckham presented a Senate Empire Award to Stevens and Valet Cleaners for being a strong contributor to community life over the years.
