MAHOPAC, N.Y. – The Putnam Arts Council is inviting kids and teens to join its flexible and affordable summer art programs, designed to spark creativity, build skills, and foster new friendships.

Programs will be offered throughout the summer at the Belle Levine Art Center, located at 521 Kennicut Hill Road in Mahopac.

A variety of themed clay programs for children ages 6 to 10 will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each session runs for four weeks, with start dates on July 15, July 29, and Aug. 12.

A separate Drawing and Painting for Kids class is available for children ages 8 to 10. It meets once a week on Thursdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m., beginning July 10.

Teens can take part in Teen Fridays, featuring the popular Teen Clay Program or the Drawing, Painting and Anime Program. Both classes meet from 6 to 8 p.m. for four weeks starting July 11.

Class sizes are limited to 10 students for pottery and 12 students for drawing and painting programs to ensure personal attention and active engagement.
