SeptemberFest—'Mount Kisco’s Biggest Block Party'—returns Sept. 18-20

Running from Friday, Sept. 18, through Sunday, Sept. 20, SeptemberFest returns for three days of hometown fun in downtown Mount Kisco, with carnival rides, food, live music, local businesses, family activities and more.

The weekend is made possible with support from premier sponsors Mt. Kisco Chevrolet, Mount Kisco Dental Group, Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages, Ambassador Event Productions and the Village of Mount Kisco.

Friday, Sept. 18: Block Party Kickoff

SeptemberFest gets underway Friday evening with carnival rides, food and live entertainment as the downtown block party begins.

5-11 p.m. — Carnival rides: Rides for all ages, with individual tickets and unlimited-ride wristbands available at the Optum and Cadillac Mount Kisco ticket booths throughout the weekend.

The carnival is presented by ride sponsors Pizza Girls, No Place Like Home Veterinary Care, Whim, Hotel MTK, Bricks & Minifigs, State Farm Christastie Agency, Northern Westchester Auto Body, Plitnick Plumbing, Mount Kisco Child Care Center, KiscoClean and KeyBank.

5-11 p.m. — Food Court & Beer Garden: Food vendors include Mobile Pie, Mount Kisco Seafood’s Big Fish, Stone Fire, Tipsy Taco, Sweet Treats and Ben & Jerry’s. Guests can dine under the Mount Kisco Dental Group Hospitality Tent. The Beer Garden is presented by Exit 4 Food Hall and Leonard Park Wines & Spirits.

Free entertainment on the Mt. Kisco Chevrolet Stage:

  • 5-7 p.m.: Attitude Adjustment Hour with a reggae vibe

  • 7-10 p.m.: Rock the Block, presented by D’Errico Jewelry, featuring DJ EMP with live percussion and saxophone

Saturday, Sept. 19: Street Fair Day

Saturday brings SeptemberFest’s Street Fair and Pop-Up Market, with more than 75 local businesses and organizations taking over South Moger Avenue and the area near the Food Court.

From 10 a.m.-5 p.m., visitors can shop, discover local services and meet businesses and organizations from throughout the community.

Street Fair Day highlights include:

  • Art Collective by the Mount Kisco Arts Council

  • Indulgence Beauty Bar Fashion Alley, featuring hair braiding, tinsel and glitter, vintage fashion and costume jewelry by Twigs Thrift Tree and the Fox Lane High School Fashion Club

  • Mt. Kisco Chevrolet vehicle display

  • Bricks & Minifigs LEGO Build Challenge

  • Meet Your Emergency Services Heroes

  • DARCARS Lexus and BMW vehicle display at the Food Court

  • Westchester Family Church puppet show

  • Cadillac Mount Kisco vehicle display

  • Character appearances

  • Free mini massages

  • Children’s Calm Corner Sensory Tent

The carnival, Food Court and Beer Garden will also be open noon-11 p.m.

Hometown Sound Showcase, presented by ShopRite Mount Kisco:

  • 1 p.m.: mildpanic

  • 2 p.m.: Siobhan O’Malley

  • 3 p.m.: Dan Blake & Mike McGuirk

  • 4 p.m.: Colin McGrath

  • 5 p.m.: Lillimure

Saturday will also feature the Mount Kisco Rotary Club’s live drawing for a $10,000 grand prize, benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester.

7:30-10 p.m. — Saturday Night LIVE: Presented by Kisco Float & Massage Sanctuary, featuring 1990s and 2000s pop and rock band KILLER TOFU.

Sunday, Sept. 20: Football & Family FunDay

SeptemberFest wraps up Sunday with a family-focused afternoon of carnival rides, food and football.

Noon-8 p.m. — Carnival rides

Noon-6 p.m. — Food Court & Beer Garden

Noon-6 p.m. — Sunday Football FunDay: Football games will be shown on big screens provided by Ambassador Event Productions, giving fans a place to watch while enjoying food and drinks from the Food Court and Beer Garden.

The carnival and arcade games will give younger visitors plenty to do as SeptemberFest closes out its three-day celebration.
