Make Family Weekend Plans a Reality With Help From Kayla Kaplowitz

Learn Kayla’s tried-and-true system for making weekend planning intentional and stress-free.

Get tips from a mom of two on turning ideas into actual plans during a virtual “lunch ’n’ learn” workshop on Tuesday, Oct. 27, led by Kayla Kaplowitz, creator and chief curator of The Plan. Learn how to make intentional plans with family and friends using apps, calendar hacks and a simple AI trick that turns a screenshot into a detailed event ready to save to your phone’s calendar.

This program will be held on Zoom. Register online or call the library to sign up and receive the Zoom link.

The Plan is an independent, reader-supported weekly newsletter and family events calendar subscription that helps hundreds of local parents in Northern Westchester and Fairfield County plan their weekends. Before founding The Plan, Kayla Kaplowitz spent more than 15 years in tech public relations, working with startup founders and creative leaders. She brings that systems-thinking and content expertise to her workshops, sharing the tools, apps and shortcuts she uses to make weekend planning for her own family easier.

Kaplowitz lives in South Salem with her husband and two daughters.

This program is part of a three-part series. All events will be recorded and posted on the library’s YouTube account for later viewing. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sign up for a complimentary three-month premium subscription to The Plan. The program is presented in partnership with the Pound Ridge Library and Lewisboro Library.
