MAHOPAC, N.Y. - An Amazon electric delivery truck flipped on its side on Croton Falls Road on Wednesday (April 16) closing the road for more than hour, though no injuries were reported.
The Mahopac Fire Department, along with Carmel Police and the Carmel Volunteer Ambulance Corp were called to the scene at around 5:34 p.m.
Units arrived at Croton Falls Road near Valley Drive to find the Amazon fully battery-powered vehicle on its side. The driver refused medical transport for evaluation.
First responders said that the vehicle did not have any delivery orders in it, and no damage was done to the battery area, which could have caused a much bigger issue.
Companies operated on scene for more than an hour to get the vehicle upright and removed.
