Alzheimer’s Association and Westchester Knicks to join forces and raise awareness

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - The Alzheimer’s Association and Westchester Knicks are partnering to educate the Hudson Valley community and Westchester Knicks fans about Alzheimer’s disease during the team’s final home regular season game, as they host the Maine Celtics on Wednesday, March 26, at 7 p.m. at the Westchester County Center. 

The Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter will have a table at the Westchester County Center during the game with staff on hand to talk about the organization’s programs, services, and fundraisers. At halftime, there will be a short presentation about Alzheimer’s.

“The Alzheimer’s Association is thrilled to partner with the Westchester Knicks to spread awareness of the disease,” said David Sobel, president and CEO of the Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter.. “We want families affected by dementia to know we’re there for them as research continues to find a cure. We are looking forward to a fun and informative night at the game.”
