Audrey Jean Wilson Crozier, 91, passed away peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Friday, August 21, 2026, after praying the rosary with her son, Chris.
Born on December 24, 1934, in Southampton, New York, Audrey was the daughter of the late Theodore A. and Florence (Schweitzer) Wilson Sr. She was a proud graduate of Southampton High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Cedar Crest College.
On September 20, 1959, Audrey joyously married the love of her life, Melvin “Mel” F. Crozier Jr., in a ceremony in Southampton, New York.
Audrey dedicated nearly 40 years of her professional life to healthcare, working as a medical technologist at Southampton Hospital, before retiring.
Upon moving to Brewster in 2002, she became a parishioner of St. Lawrence O'Toole Church where she was a weekly adorer, Cornerstone Sister, and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Bernadine #185.
Audrey had a wonderful appreciation for life and enjoyed many activities that brought her happiness. She loved traveling - especially cruising - golfing, reading, and, above all, spending time with her family, playing card games or at the slots. She also enjoyed the friendship and camaraderie of being the founding member of the Red Hats – Brewster Belles.
She is survived by her two sons, Andrew M. Crozier and his wife, Brenda, of East Hampton, New York, and Christopher C. Crozier and his wife, Pamela, of Brewster, New York. She leaves behind six grandchildren: Ryan Crozier (TaLissa), Jared Crozier, Braden Crozier, Cole Crozier, Keaton Crozier (Kim), and Courtney Crozier, as well as her three great-grandchildren: Briana Crozier, Avielle Crozier, and Karter Crozier.
Audrey was predeceased by her beloved husband, Mel, and her brother Theodore “Teddy” A. Wilson, Jr.
Audrey (“Grammy”) will be remembered for the beautiful life she built through her dedication to her family, her career, her church, and the many friendships she formed along the way. Her love of family, her enjoyment of life's simple pleasures, her exuberant personality, and the memories she created with those around her will remain with all who knew and loved her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, Brewster, NY. Interment will be at Southampton Cemetery, Southhampton, NY.
