North Salem Man Faces Charges After Knife Incident

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - A North Salem man is facing numerous charges after allegedly threatening someone with a knife in the presence of a child. 

Just after 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, State Troopers were called to a residence in North Salem to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance. Police were able to determine that Brendan H. Clarke, 33, had threatened a victim with a knife during a dispute while a child was present. 

Clarke was charged with Menacing in the 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree, and Act In Manner to Injure Child Less Than 17, all class A misdemeanors.

He was arraigned in North Salem Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
