Chamber Corner for May 2026

Mt. Kisco Arts Walk set to debut

Posted

May and June are months of new beginnings, fresh flowers blooming, bright colors, a tinge of warmth and the smells of the outdoors.

The Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce has a multitude of exciting events coming up in the next month. Sunday, May 10, is Mother’s Day, and many local merchants will have specials for the mother in your life. Check our Facebook and Instagram pages for offers and find a beautiful way to celebrate. Remember to Shop Local!

We have collaborated with both the Mount Kisco Elementary School Association and the Mount Kisco Arts Council for the first Art Walk in Mount Kisco. It will feature works of art by students and adults, showcased in many shops in Mount Kisco. The pieces are for sale, and all proceeds will go to the school for programs for the children. It will take place from May 12 to 16. A map detailing the merchants showcasing art will be available on our website and on the MKES and MKAC websites soon.

Chamber Honors, our annual evening celebrating a Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year and Organization of the Year, is around the corner on Thursday, June 4, at the Mount Kisco Country Club. The 2026 honorees include Dan and Sammi Taplitz as Citizens of the Year, Mount Kisco Dental Group as Business of the Year and Community Living Corporation as Organization of the Year. We are more than happy to recognize these outstanding honorees, chosen by their peers. More information about each is on our website, along with details about tickets and/or journal ad purchases. Please help us celebrate this wonderful slate of contributors to our community. They are truly representative of how to make our community better in so many ways.

June is also bringing a new and exciting event to Mount Kisco – Wellness Week. June 13 is the kickoff to the week with a Wellness Fair. It will be held on the grounds of Village Hall, featuring free, open-air live classes from different genres, with pre-registration available and walk-ins accepted the day of the event, pending availability. A giant Zumba class, offered by Genesis/Saw Mill Health Club, will take place at noon. All are welcome! Let’s make this one for the books. Many of our 40-plus wellness members will be participating, sharing information about their business, offering specials and letting you know what they have planned in their brick-and-mortar spaces during the week. It is going to be a festive time and solidifying the fact that Mount Kisco is the Health and Wellness Village of Westchester.
