MAHOPAC, N.Y. — Late last month, hundreds from Mahopac and beyond gathered on the grounds of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for Giglio Di Mahopac, a festival of Italian culture.

The three-day festival featured rides and other kids’ activities, entertainment, great food, and the giant Giglio statue dedicated to the memory of Anthony Squitieri. Halston Media’s Corinne Stanton was on hand with her camera.
