Lynn M. Todd (McConnell), long time resident of Brewster, NY, passed away on March 4, 2025, in Bethel, CT. She was 80.
Lynn was born on May 23, 1944 in White Plains, NY. She was the daughter of Madalaine Vallet Rosser McConnell and Frank A. McConnell of White Plains, NY.
Lynn attended Bethany College in West Virginia, to pursue a degree in English. Soon after returning to White Plains, she began working for General Foods as a Secretary. In 1977, she moved to Brewster, NY where she welcomed her baby girl, Lisa. For the next 7 years, she was a stay-at-home Mom before returning to the workforce to work for Bruen, Deldin, Didio Associates, Inc., a local insurance agency. After 26 years, she officially retired in 2011.
Lynn's daughter was her pride and joy and would go anywhere with her. From casino trips, cruises, Broadway plays and concerts, Lynn was up for anything. For many years, Lynn was in a bowling league, even convincing her daughter to join her team. She was an avid Yankees fan, never missing a game and was still a faithful New York Giants fan from day one.
Lynn is survived by her daughter, Lisa Silva of Danbury CT; ex Husband, James M. Todd of NY; sister-in-law Marie C. McConnell of FL; brothers-in-law, John Todd of NV, Ronald Todd of SC; nieces Cheryl M. Schwab of FL, Lara Kensey of NJ, Julie Petzel of WA; nephews Scott R. McConnell of FL, Edward Todd of NJ and Christopher Todd of TN. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Frank McConnell.
