Yorktown police arrested a 49-year-old Yorktown man Sept. 28 after a one-car crash on Quinlan Street, charging him with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI, police said.
Daniel Misiti was charged with DWI, first offense, and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content over 0.18 percent, both unclassified misdemeanors. He was also charged with failure to use a designated lane and moving from a lane unsafely, both traffic infractions.
Police responded to the area of 3085 Quinlan St. around 4:49 p.m. for a report of a one-car crash. An investigation determined Misiti was allegedly driving while intoxicated, and further testing showed his BAC was allegedly above 0.18 percent, police said.
Misiti was processed at Yorktown police headquarters, issued traffic tickets and released on his own recognizance to a responsible third party. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.
Yorktown police arrested a 41-year-old Yorktown man Oct. 1 after a motor vehicle crash on Underhill Avenue, charging him with DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation, both felonies.
Richard Montero was charged with DWI with a prior conviction within 10 years and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree, both Class E felonies. He was also charged with failing to yield the right of way, a traffic infraction.
Police responded to the area of 1241 Underhill Ave. around 8:43 a.m. for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Montero was identified as the operator of one of the vehicles, and an investigation determined he was allegedly driving while intoxicated. Police also found that his driver's license had been revoked for prior DWI offenses.
Montero was processed at Yorktown police headquarters, issued traffic tickets and released on his own recognizance to a responsible third party. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Oct. 20 at 6 p.m.
Yorktown police arrested a 41-year-old Mahopac woman early Wednesday on a drug possession charge after officers stopped a suspicious vehicle in a Lee Road bank parking lot, police said.
Krista Petrucelli was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor. According to police, Officer Santoro stopped the vehicle, which was idling in the TD Bank parking lot, and identified Petrucelli as a passenger. An on-scene investigation allegedly uncovered a quantity of cocaine and Valium in her possession.
Petrucelli was processed at Yorktown police headquarters, issued an appearance ticket and released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m.
Yorktown police arrested a 36-year-old Garrison man Oct. 1 on a warrant stemming from a false report of a person being held hostage at gunpoint in June, police said.
Charles Johnson was charged with falsely reporting an incident in the third degree, a Class A misdemeanor. According to police, officers responded to a Yorktown residence June 12 for a report of a person being held hostage at gunpoint. An investigation determined the report was false and that no one was in danger, police said. Johnson was identified as the caller, and an arrest warrant was issued.
Johnson was stopped by Westchester County police Oct. 1 and turned over to Yorktown police on the warrant. He was arraigned before Judge Cohen-Pierson and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Nov. 10 at 6 p.m.
