The Yorktown community gathered for two Easter egg hunts on March 28, bringing festive excitement to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and Downing Park. Children and families spent the day searching for colorful eggs and snapping photos with the Easter Bunny.
At St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, the Denet and Grieve families hosted their annual event in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The celebration featured thousands of hidden eggs, along with games, crafts, and entertainment for attendees to enjoy. Donations are still being accepted by searching “The Denet Family Annual Easter Egg Hunt” on fundraising.stjude.org.
Meanwhile, at Downing Park, the Yorktown Lions Club partnered with the Parks and Recreation Department to organize a well-structured hunt with age-specific sections, prize opportunities, and plenty of chances for memorable photos.
