Yorktown Superintendent of Schools Ron Hattar advised the district community Friday that some weekend events may be canceled or rescheduled due to the anticipated nor’easter.
Hattar said the district’s meteorology service expects the storm to have “have a modest impact on our immediate area.”
Some games and athletic events have already been postponed. Any additional schedule changes will be communicated by the respective coach, adviser or outside organization, such as the Yorktown Athletic Club, Hattar said.
The district’s athletics calendar will have the most current information regarding athletic events.
“Please be safe as you venture out this weekend,” Hattar said.
