The San Gennaro Feast returns to Yorktown this week for five days of food, music and community celebration.
The festival opens Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 5 p.m. on Commerce Street and at Railroad Park. A statue procession will follow at 6 p.m., beginning behind the Yorktown Firehouse at 1916 Commerce St.
Hours are Wednesday through Friday from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. Entertainment includes Johnny Sal and DJ Mikey Love on Wednesday, Antonio Guarna on Thursday, Louie & JoAnn and Uptown Band on Friday, Pane E Cioccolato on Saturday, and Angelo Venuto, Lisa Messina and John Micalizzi on Sunday.
Feast DJ Steve Raguso will also perform. Galbani will host cooking demonstrations Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. The stage is located in Railroad Park.
