Stuart Israel was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose life revolved around family and traditions.
Stuart is survived by his beloved wife, Leslie, with whom he recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. He was a proud and devoted father to Kimberly and her husband, James, and to Dana and her husband, Jason, and a loving grandfather to Michael, Allison, and Kayla, Madison, Brooke. He is also survived by his brother, Craig Israel, and Craig’s wife, Donna, along with other family members and dear friends.
A salesman by profession, Stuart was dedicated, worked with integrity, and related easily to others.
He was a devoted family man who spent 17 summers creating memories with his family on Long Beach Island and celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary with Leslie on a Princess Cruise, surrounded by their children and grandchildren which he loved so deeply.
Committed to his Jewish faith, Stuart celebrated and explained the meaning of each holiday to his grandchildren, making traditions like hiding the matzah and spinning the dreidel favorite moments spent with him.
Stuart believed in bringing family together and his legacy will live on through the family bonds he nurtured, the traditions he created and the countless memories.
