Adelphi University: The following students graduated as members of the class of 2025: Pamela Giannopoulos, Jenna Masci, Faith Scott and Mark Tinger. Giannopoulos was also among the presenters at the 22nd Annual Scholarship and Creative Works Conference, held this spring.
Buffalo State: Samantha Casey and Bridget Kossow were named to the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester.
Bucknell University: Michael Lendener was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2025 semester.
Champlain College: Evan Jones was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2025 semester.
Clarkson University: Kaitlinn Campana and John Vespucci were named to the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester.
College of Charleston: Bailey Ralls was named to the president's list for the spring 2025 semester.
College of the Holy Cross: Anna Brown graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Dean College: Jason Wilson was named to the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester.
East Stroudsburg University: Chelsea Santiago was named to the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester.
Elmira College: Brett Warden was named the male recipient of the EC Athletes Most Outstanding Career Award, which honors a student-athlete who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, good citizenship, academic achievement and athletic excellence throughout their career at Elmira. He also received the Booster Club Vangorden “Player of the Year” Award for baseball. In addition to his athletic accomplishments, Warden was named to the dean’s list and was one of 24 students who participated in the 15th Annual Student Research Conference, which showcased 12 research projects across disciplines including biology, chemistry, psychology and data analytics.
Emerson College: Thomas Hogan received a BFA in media arts production as part of the Emerson College spring 2025 graduating class. Hogan also made the dean’s list, along with Julia Giordano, Penelope Parker and Meghan Thurmeier.
Fairfield University: The following students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2025 semester: Christy Bertolotti, Frank Bertolotti, Lauren Carlin, Gianna Cortesi, Dylan DelVecchio, Claudia Fraioli, Martin Griff, Joseph Lucia, Mia Parisi, Hunter Portante, Rocco Portante, Tyler Steimel, Lily Merriam and Sophie Vulaj.
Fairleigh Dickinson University: Ty Wagner of Jefferson Valley was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2025 semester.
Georgia Institute of Technology: Hiroki Mii of Yorktown Heights and Brendan Sullivan of Yorktown Heights earned degrees during the spring 2025 commencement.
Hartwick College: Spring 2025 dean’s list honorees included Carlo Mottola of Mohegan Lake and Kellie Sullivan of Yorktown Heights.
Hobart and William Smith Colleges: Abbie Ellison was named to the spring 2025 dean's list at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She also earned the honor in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Hofstra University: The following students were named to the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester: Joseph Granitto, Luke Gruppuso, Jahnay Ibukun and Michael Matusiak.
Lasell University: John Baumeister was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2025 semester.
Le Moyne College: Grace Scaglione was named to the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester.
Marquette University: Caroline Cahill was named to the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester.
Mississippi State University: Alison Rachel Ho earned a Bachelor of Science from the Bagley College of Engineering in spring 2025. Annaliese Matteo was named to the spring 2025 dean’s list.
Muhlenberg College: Reed Thompson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2025 semester. A member of the men’s lacrosse team, Thompson was also named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll and inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the national collegiate scholar-athlete society recognizing excellence in the classroom and in competition.
Nazareth University: Brendan Regan graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in ethical data science and mathematics. Regan was also named to the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester.
New York Institute of Technology: Yorktown Heights residents Joseph Brown (life sciences bachelor’s program) and Giddeon Lim (occupational therapy master’s program) graduated as members of the class of 2025.
Spring 2025 Presidential Honor List honorees included Yorktown Heights residents Kris Dominic and Andrew Perrone.
Plymouth State University: Cassidy Kenney of Yorktown Heights graduated in May with a bachelor’s degree in English as part of the university’s class of 2025.
Christine Aery, Mason Phillips and Connor Phillips were named to the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester.
Purdue University: Michael Buchwald graduated with a Masters of Science in aeronautical & astronautical engineering
Purchase College: Spring 2025 dean’s list honorees included Yorktown Heights residents Samantha Cancro, Derek Donnelly, John Floryshak, Joseph Malaspina, Ryan Palmisano, Sofia Rishel, Ashlee Streete, Daniel Silverman and Liliana Lima; Mohegan Lake residents Lilly Gummerson, Vivian Joyce, Dexter Pretnar and Elisa Vida; and Dylan Reyes of Shrub Oak.
Spring 2025 dean’s list honorees included Shannon Appelle, Angie Garippa, Christina Zapata and Leonita Zeqiraj, all of Yorktown Heights, and Cori Hickey of Mohegan Lake.
Quinnipiac University: Matthew Buchwald graduated with an MBA in finance.

Salve Regina University: Liam Marr was named to the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester. John Kruse of Yorktown Heights was awarded an MBA during the university’s spring 2025 commencement.
Siena College: Caitlain Carroll and Daniella Gerbasi were named to Siena’s president’s list. The following Yorktown-area students were named to the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester: Alexandra Cortese, Paul Duggan, Keira Flaherty, Conor Hufnagel, Michael Munson and Ryan Vogel.
Southern New Hampshire University: Jonathan Daniels, Valerie Gerace and Anthony Merlini were named to the president’s list for the spring 2025 term.
Springfield College: Vincent Cappelli was named to the dean's list for academic excellence for the spring 2025 semester.
Stonehill College: Abriella Parisi was named to the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester.
SUNY Canton: Julia Morvillo graduated from SUNY Canton with a Bachelor of Technology in criminal investigation. Erik Hanson and Julia Morvillo were named to the president’s list, and Karla Merchan was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2025 semester.
SUNY Cortland: Yorktown’s Chris Judge was one of three students to place among the top finishers at this year’s New York Business Plan Competition. Their startup, NIL Finder—designed to help college athletes find money-making opportunities—won first place statewide in the Learn, Work, Live category.
Elaina Ornstein of Yorktown Heights, a physical education K-12 major, earned the Part-time Student Award for Academic Achievement for the spring 2025 semester.

SUNY Delhi: Samson Cane-Franco of Mohegan Lake earned an associate degree in residential construction; Gavin Crilly of Shrub Oak earned an associate degree in welding technology; Ethan Williamson of Yorktown Heights earned an associate degree in electrical construction and plumbing; and Nathan Williamson of Yorktown Heights earned an associate degree in electrical construction and plumbing.

SUNY Oneonta: Yorktown Heights residents Samantha Crecco, Alexandra Haims, Juliana Piehler, Elizabeth Regan and Valerie Torrieri, along with Jessica Malatino of Mohegan Lake, earned master’s degrees in education after completing the literacy education program (birth through grade 6)
Frank Jennings and Taylor Teachout, both of Yorktown Heights, earned bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and in psychology and criminal justice, respectively. Abigail Vesperman of Jefferson Valley earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood/childhood education (B-6).
Lindsey Townes was named to the Provost's List for the spring 2025 semester, earning a perfect 4.0 GPA. Ryan Barrett, Aidan Boyle, Steven Dedvukaj, Nick Jacoby, Ava Lebid, Ava Picardi, Anthony Puoti and Antonio Sanabria were named to the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester. Lyrica McIntyre was one of 30 fashion students who produced the annual spring fashion show, Whispers of the Cosmos: Ethereal Elegance, held May 3 in the Alumni Field House. Conor Brandt was one of 139 students who participated in the 2025 Student Research and Creative Activity Showcase, held April 16 in the Hunt Union Ballroom.
Anthony Sabatello and Jacqueline Quaile were among 43 students who gained real-world experience in motor development through Developing Red Dragons, a spring 2025 initiative in the Human Growth and Motor Development course that connects exercise science students with children ages 3–16 to observe and apply developmental concepts outside the classroom.

Tufts University: Spring 2025 dean’s list honorees included Sofia DiMella, class of 2028, and Jay Wilkinson, class of 2027, both of Yorktown Heights.

University of Alabama: McKayla Murphy graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, and Olivia Tabarroni earned her Bachelor of Science in commerce and business administration as part of the spring 2025 graduating class. University of Delaware: Randy Serafin was elected to membership in Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society.
University of Hartford: The following students were named to both the dean's list and president's list for the spring 2025 semester: Jenna Bashjawish, Sara Costa, Aly Metz and Dylan Salveggi.

University of Scranton: Carolina Dominguez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration; she also joined Maggie K. Appelle, Linda K. Daly and Matthew P. Hirsch on the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester. Daly was also inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, the national Jesuit honor society.
